The audblog service has announced that they now offer support for Movable Type. audblog allows you to post audio entries from a phone; entries are posted to your weblog using XML-RPC. They use RSD to easily discover your XML-RPC URL and blog ID, so you'll need to make sure that your MT installation supports RSD.
In case you haven't seen it, we made a few announcements yesterday.
In a couple weeks, we'll be going into greater details about how current Movable Type users are going to be able to benefit from the service. Stay tuned.
It's incredibly exciting to see how far we've come with Movable Type/Six Apart and our users and donors have a played a great deal in helping us achieve these milestones. Thank you!
To increase the usability of the support forums, we've installed new forum software that will provide more robust searching and thread tracking, improved user control panels and administration.
The forum interface is similar to that of the previous board so, from a user's standpoint, the transition to the new system should be fairly seamless.
Registered forum members will need to login again with their existing username and passwords.
See this thread for more information.
We're pleased to announce that Movable Type has been nominated under the Best Practices category in the 2003 Webby Awards.
