Upgrade from Movable Type 4.x

Here's how to upgrade:

If you previously licensed Movable Type Commercial 4.0 or 4.1, you are entitled to a free update to the latest version of Movable Type Pro. You can move up to Movable Type Pro, which includes the social networking features that will help you build a community around your website, or you can simply update your existing version to get all of the great improvements in the most recent release.

If you choose to update to Movable Type Pro, you will receive all of the social features and 5000 Member Profiles for your readers.

If you licensed Movable Type 4.0 or 4.1 Personal or K-12 Type, you are entitled to a free update to the Blogger license, which includes the same social networking features as Movable Type Pro, but is for noncommercial users. The license includes unlimited Member Profiles so that your readers can create their own identities with photos and other information. You can update to the Blogger license for free on the Download page. It's fast and easy.
