We’re calling it a “social application” because it was designed to allow you to leverage all of the social features built into Movable Type, and because it can be used as a standalone technology alongside a website or blog that is not built in Movable Type.
Technically, Motion is built into the core of Movable Type Pro 4.31.
Are there any limitations to Motion for Movable Type?
Microblogging on Motion for Movable Type is as robust and scalable as blogging on Movable Type. If you plan to include action streams into your community, Motion is optimized for communities with a few hundred users who aggregate several action streams from other social networking services on their profile.
How can I get Motion for Movable Type?
If you currently use Movable Type 4.x, the latest version of Movable Type, 4.31, is in your support account and can be immediately downloaded.
